وَمَا كَانَ لَهٗ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنْ سُلْطٰنٍ اِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَنْ يُّؤْمِنُ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِيْ شَكٍّ ۭ وَرَبُّكَ عَلٰي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيْظٌ   ۧ And they demand you to hasten the punishment. And had it not been a fixed term appointed then definitely the punishment would have come on them. And it will come on them suddenly and they will be unaware. اور شیطان کا ان پر کچھ قابو نہ تھا مگر اس لیے کہ ہم دکھادیں کہ کون آخرت پر ایمان لاتا اور کون اس سے شک میں ہے، اور تمہارا رب ہر چیز پر نگہبان ہے
